Tuesday 17th – Adelaide composer and Masters candidate in Composition Becky Llewellyn speaks about music and painting in her opera The Portrait

MAY
Tuesday 1st – London-based pianist Roy Howat talks about his new research on Russian imprints of fin-de-siecle French piano music

JUNE
Tuesday 19th – Helen Rusak presents A User’s Guide to Music Rhetoric

AUGUST
Tuesday 21st – Our AGM. Graham Strahle will discuss Music Criticism in the Contemporary Australian Mainstream Press

SEPTEMBER
Tuesday 18th – Mark Carroll is our speaker, topic tba

OCTOBER
Tuesday 23rd – John Phillips will speak on the problem of The Musicological Island

Sessions begin 7.30pm in Room 1107, Level 11, Schulz Building, The University of Adelaide (Entry via Eastern door of the Scott Theatre). A Gold Coin donation is requested for drinks following the presentations.
